Today, Ann was assigned to the Stoddard Tin Shop site along with four other sisters. This time of year there are not many visitors and not much to do in the various sites. So, missionaries get involved in humanitarian projects. Even some of the Elders get involved making hats on round looms while assigned at sites. Some of the sites are equipped with sewing machines in a back room or up stairs. Projects can include anything from making quilts to small teddy bears. All the items are available to area Relief Society presidents to use where and when as needed.

Anyway, there is a sewing room in the up stairs of the Tin Shop. Ann spent the day making burp clothes for infants. One sister was making quilt patches, one making little snugly bears, one was knitting hats and one was cutting out material to make pillow cases. 



It is a good way to use missionary time when there isn't much to do. Much good comes from the effort. Should a visitor come to the site, one of the sisters wll go down and conduct the tour.
