Tonight was our cast's first Rendezvous show since the Cultural Hall floor was refinished and some painting was done. I was assigned to play the part of the editor which makes Ann the Relief Society president. We had two special guests attend the show. One was Blake Rosenvall who is one of five area directors of temples with the Temple Department and the other was Bob Langford who is the High Priest Group Leader of our ward in Layton. He also works for the Church's Human Relations Department responsible for temple employees.
Brother Rosenvall remembers my dad at the Jordan River Temple when it first opened. He told me that he was just in his twenties at that time. He remembers dad as being a very kind and one who knew his business.

It was good to see someone from back home. Bob had made contact with us through the Nauvoo Temple Recorder to let us know he was coming. Last night they took us to dinner in Fort Madison. We had a nice visit and got updated on what was going on back home.
