Relief Society Re-enactment

Ann with other sister missionaries in wagon
en route to the "Red Brick Store
Yesterday afternoon Ann was able to participate in the annual re-enactment of the organizing of the first Relief Society. The Community of Christ Church which owns the red brick store which was owned by Joseph Smith Jr. lets us use the upstairs room of the store for the re-enactment. This is the very place where the Relief Society was first organized right here in Nauvoo.

Because of limited parking, the sister missionaries assembled at the Nauvoo Visitor Center. From there the teamsters took them to the "Red Brick" store in wagons for the program. Ann's assignment was to offer the invocation.
